Static graphics--photographs, illustrations, cartoons, etc.--can stand alone or be embedded in a variety of other media/projects for rhetorical effect. Because these visuals cross so many media, it seemed worthwhile to devote a page to finding images, exploring their rhetorical effects, and creating projects that are primarily visual.
